Arwen calls upon the waters of Bruinen 6x8 Original watercolor painting
"If you want him, come and claim him!" Arwen bravely facing down 9 Ring Wraiths was such an epic scene, I had to paint it. . even if it's not literarily accurate, I'll give Peter Jackson props, where it's due.
In Lord of the Rings, the Fellowship of the Ring (2001 Films), when Arwen defeats the Ringwraiths after crossing the river, the words she speaks in that scene translate into English thus: “Waters of the Misty Mountains, hear the word of power, rush, waters of Bruinen (Loudwater), against the Ringwraiths!” (Nîn o Chithaeglir lasto beth daer; rimmo nín Bruinen dan in Ulaer!)
