Black Kite Original Ink Drawing 8" x 10" A good friend of mine photographed a local bird with her mad photography skills, I fell in love with the photo, and asked permission to draw it. Thus, a collaboration was born. 25+ hours of work later, here is the result. I used Faber-Castell artist pens and Prismacolor markers. This is the original, hand drawn, one-of-a-kind ink illustration. There are variations in the ink, it shines a special way, giving the feathers dimension and personality. I tried to capture that with the photos, but cameras rarely do justice to ink art.
